We are registered providers with Enable NSW for all of our Pedorthic Services.
The Enable Process
Here's how to access pedorthic services through EnableNSW.
Health Professional Referral
Your treating GP, specialist, podiatrist, or physiotherapist completes an Equipment Request Form (ERF) with clinical justification for the requested equipment.
ERF Submission
The health professional submits the ERF to EnableNSW. We can assist with completing ERFs — contact us with clinical details and photos for guidance.
EnableNSW Review
EnableNSW reviews the application and may request additional information. Simple items: 2-4 weeks. Complex items may take longer.
Approval Notification
Once approved, EnableNSW issues an approval letter. Contact Walk Easy to schedule your assessment appointment.
Assessment & Fitting
Attend your appointment at our Tamworth or Newcastle clinic. We'll assess your needs and begin the manufacturing process.
Supply & Follow-up
Final fitting to ensure proper fit and function. We provide wearing-in guidelines and arrange follow-up within 2-4 weeks.

Who is Eligible
Enable NSW provides assistive technology and equipment to people with disabilities who are not eligible for the NDIS or are waiting to transition.
Application Process
Your health professional or support coordinator can submit an Equipment Request Form (ERF) on your behalf with clinical justification.
Appointments
Once your ERF is approved, appointments can be made at any of our clinic locations. Contact our Tamworth office on 02 6766 3153.
What to Bring
Bring your Enable approval documentation, any existing footwear or orthoses, and socks similar to those you'll wear with new footwear.
Assessment
Our Pedorthist will conduct a thorough assessment to determine the most appropriate footwear or orthotic solution for your needs.
Supply & Follow-up
After fitting, we provide wearing-in guidelines and arrange a follow-up appointment within 2-4 weeks to ensure optimal fit.

Equipment Request Form
