Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA)

We are DVA Suppliers of medical grade footwear, custom moulded orthoses, custom cast footwear, custom moulded orthoses and filler prosthesis, modifications and repairs.

A selection of ready-made DVA approved styles are available to choose from.

If you are a DVA Gold Card Holder

You will need to see your Podiatrist to get a DVA “Footwear Prescription”.
This “Footwear Prescription” can either be emailed to us or you can bring it to your appointment.

What to bring to your appointment

Your footwear prescription
A pair of socks
The shoes that you will be leaving for modifications or repairs
The shoes that you will be leaving to have custom moulded orthoses fitted
Any other information that you think we might need
Your club membership or letter if you are applying for DVA recreational footwear

Home Visits

Only available at our Tamworth, Armidale or Gunnedah locations by phoning our Tamworth clinic on 02) 67663153.

Prior Approvals

We will require prior approval for the following supply requests:
Recreation Footwear, custom footwear, custom moulded orthoses and filler prosthesis, some modifications.
Approvals usually take approx. 3 weeks. Once we receive them, we can proceed with your order.

DVA ready-made Footwear Supply

Will be either sent to your Podiatrist, your home or you may be required to come back for a fitting and collection.

Custom Footwear & Orthoses Supply

An appointment for fitting and collection is required, and we discuss the recommended guidelines for “wearing in new shoes and orthoses”.
A check-up appointment is arranged within 2-4 weeks following this “wearing in” period.
